Last Monday was Family Day here and we had a full day! We woke up, ate a tasty breakfast, and went straight to the Mall so Monkey could go to a petting zoo. There were lots of things to do at the mall...but Monkey just wanted to sit and hold bunnies and piglets.
He was really gentle...well after he squeezed the poor bunny's neck as tight as he could...then he was really gentle. He wasn't as interested in the lambs as I was. I could have probably sat in the petting zoo and loved on the little lamb all day, if it wasn't for the billy goat trying to eat the leather on my boots and bag.
Ben loved the piglets. Monkey did too. When they weren't squealing. Those two loved on that piglet for a good 15 minutes.
Monkey had fun at the craft center by putting tons and tons of stickers on his airplane. The little girl who sat beside him was convinced Monkey was a girl. She wouldn't even believe me that he was actually a boy. So she kept handing him My Little Pony stickers and Monkey kept replying with, "Dank ew." Oh well. haha.
We went to the Art Gallery of Alberta next after a snack in the food court. The museum was pretty awesome. Monkey slept through all the galleries until we got to the top floor with the current European art. Lets just say I didn't understand a lot of the art...well any of the art in that gallery. There was; however, a HUGE head shaped, in Monkey's mind, like a pumpkin. The security guard was amazing and allowed Monkey to go into the pumpkin head, peer out through the eyes, and yell at passerbys. Monkey loved it. He just laughed and laughed. Sadly, you can't take any pictures in the museum...so I missed documenting that hilarious moment. We left the museum while Monkey waved and yelled, "Bye, Pum-kin! Bye, Pum-kin!"
Family Day...what a great holiday.

That looks and sounds like an awesome day! I am really not believing that you are going to have a baby in a couple of months. Even though there is one picture of you, I see no sign of a belly. Where are you growing the baby?
