Just in case you can't tell what's going on in this picture, I'll explain. This is what Monkey picked out to wear to bed one night. His Cars pjs, Elmo slippers, and a really tacky but super awesome shark sweater from the early 90s. On his hand is a cardboard tube left over from wrapping paper. Monkey doesn't use it as a sword or light saber, he uses it as an extend-o arm....and knocks off everything from on the counter tops and shelves. He thinks it's hilarious, I think it's...well not so hilarious.
Lately I've been noticing how big my baby is getting. My baby boy is about to be a big brother! He's not going to be the baby anymore!!! He's getting so good as putting together sentences and learning his colors, that everyday I'm more and more amazed at how smart he truly is.

Some awesome things Monkey is learning/obsessed with:
>Colors!
-yellow=sun or e-yo
-yellow=sun or e-yo
-blue= boo
-red=pink
>Books
-Anything dinosaur related. We read the same book over and over...and over
>Sentence Structure/Words
-This week he started using the word, "too." For example, he'll say, "I like toast. Mama too!"
>Clothing
-He picks out his clothes with me every morning. If he could he would wear his favorite color for pants (blue) and a dino shirt EVERYDAY!
-Blue is by far his favorite color. He MUST wear one blue item everyday.
>Sweet Things
-He hugs my tummy and talks to the baby everyday.
-He'll lift up my shirt, kiss my baby belly, put my shirt back down, wave and yell, "Bye, baby!"
