Slow, sick days

The past few days...or more like weeks have been really tough on our family. I got sick a week ago with food poisoning followed by the flu. To spare you the horrible details, let's just say I was bunked out next to the toilet for about 4 days. It wouldn't have been so bad (although, food poisoning is SO painful to go through) if we were home. We were visiting family in Calgary so we could go to a baby blessing for our niece. So I was bunked out next to my in-laws's toilet. Oh, joy! (Actually, they helped take really good care of me, and watched my lil' Monkey so I could get some rest and have a little bit of privacy.)

This this past week, Hubby woke up sick and by the end of the day, I had a pounding headache with fever and chills that wasn't going away. So thankfully, with the help of some lovely medicine, I'm going to get this massive bacterial infection in my sinuses cleared up! YAY!
