A Birthday Girl

So, sorry for the overload of baby pictures about to happen...
but my baby girl turned one a week ago, so what do ya expect? I mean, really? Of course I took too many pictures. (though, I don't think that's possible)

I wanted Eylee girl to have a nice and small birthday.
A little, but oh-so-cute, birthday cake.
Family to surround her.
And a few simple gifts to make her giggle with delight.

She got all of it! It was a laid back day of lil' Eylee cuddling grandparents, playing with her presents, and about 30 minutes of birthday cake destruction. Although, there wasn't very much destruction...she wasn't very sure what to do with her birthday cake. Maybe the huge fake flower I stuck on top freaked her out? Maybe she's already too prissy of a girl to get her hands dirty? Maybe all the people watching her was too much? (It's not fun to make a mess when people can see, right??) Whichever reason it was, it took some encouragement for her to even take a bite. Oh well...
