My girl has lots of stuffies. Minnie Mouses galore, babies, bears, etc. But she has three that have become her favorites. Mr. Hibou (her owl who recently lost an eye), ted (her fav. bear who looks as though he was a stuffie for three or more children, not just one), and Dollie. Dollie isn't even really a "doll." She was a gift given to me by my best friend, Kimmy, when I was like 10. On one side of Dollie is a happy face and then when flipped around is a frown-y face. She's made of yellow yarn hair and floral fabric stuffed with fluff. A simple treasure I've always hung on to because looking at her reminds me of Kim. But one day Eylee girl saw, snatched, and claimed Dollie. Eylee never tires of flipping Dollie around to see her smile then frown, then smile again. Eylee will stick her friend by the head into her mouth and crawl all over the house with her.

I took the above picture after snapping the ones to show Dollie's faces. Eylee was very upset I had the nerve to borrow her friend for literally just a second. Oh, don't worry, she immediately stopped crying when she had her Dollie again.
Hi Cait! What a beautiful little girl! (Even the last one. haha)

Making Life's Lemons
it's always so precious when your own kids start using/playing with the things from YOUR childhood! Love this :)
ReplyDeleteOMGOSH I am tearing up over here! I can't believe you still have "Dollie" and I am so thrilled that Eylee loves her. I miss you my sister :( But I am so happy and humbled that we have so many wonderful memories together. Much love
