Sweet Girl

Baby girl is 8 months old. Ten days away from being 9 months. While snuggling her last night, she all of a sudden seemed so big. It was so surreal. -it doesn't help that she's already the length of a 10 month old-After holding two newborns in the past week, my baby doesn't seem so "new" anymore. I remember when Monkey was 8 months old we were on our way up to live in Canada. That seems like forever ago, almost like a different life.
When I think about how crazy fast children grow, I just want to snuggle mine all day. (which is what I seem to do all the time anyway) I'm learning to not care or at least be okay with my house being messy, dishes not washed, beds not made and supper not a new and unique recipe every night. Playing and snuggling is just too special to pass up for anything else.
Lil' girl seems to be growing even faster than Monkey did.
What am I saying?? She is growing faster than Monkey did!
She has been crawling for two months already, can cruise around when holding someone's hands or something stable, can stand on her own for about half a minute now, and waves and shouts, "I!" -her rendition of "hi." She has finally sprouted her bottom two teeth and puts them to good use. I would say the nickname, "beaver" wouldn't be a bad one for her. She's such a good sport and lets me put crazy large bows on her head and ruffles on her bum.
Last night I went to work on cutting Ben's and Monkey's hair. It took a little longer than expected and lil' miss fell asleep while waiting for her bath. Oh, did I mention she fell asleep while in her jumper.
Cutest. thing. ever.

Sweet girl, I love you too much.
