Ice On Whyte

Photobucket
We went to Ice On Whyte again this year and it was just as awesome! We were smarter this year and wore snow pants so our jeans wouldn't get soaked when we slid down the crazy fast ice slides. There were beautiful ice sculptures all around but Monkey didn't care to see them, he was way too interested in the slides. He went down them at least 10 times and would have gone more if we let him.

I appear happy and care free in this photo, but I can assure you, I was really freaked out. My snow pants made me go a little too fast. You can't really see Monkey's face but he's laughing and already begging to go again.
"That was so much fun, Mama! Let's do it again!! Five more times!"

Lots of the ice sculptures were falling apart. (Sad day) But these two were pretty awesome. The one on the right got first place and the one on the left is, according to Monkey, Nemo.

I just love her. She was a good sport and stayed in the stroller the whole time so I could get some pics of Monkey and Ben dominating the slides.

Of course, by the time we were finished it was time for a late lunch. Ben and I decided to be "extremely rad" parents and we took Monkey to Mickey D's for some fries and a hamburger. He gobbled it all down. This is a photo of him explaining to me how much he loves french fries.
