Icicles, a major food group

Ben and Monkey ventured out into the snow a couple of times this past Christmas break. It was ridiculously cold so I stayed inside with lil' girl.
The first day they went out, I thought, for sure, they would come back in after about 15 minutes in the snow. After an hour had passed, I looked outside expecting to see one cold husband and one crying frost bit boy. But what I found was really surprising. Ben was laying down making snow angels while Monkey was throwing snowballs.
Those boys stayed outside for about another 40 minutes until I made them come inside for lunch.

When I told them it was time to come inside, they threw snowballs at me. how rude! ;)

I asked them how they weren't hungry for being outside for so long. Their response?
Icicles. They ate icicles.
Now Monkey wants to eat one everyday.
Icicles, the new food group. Who knew?
