We're getting excited for the Christmas Holiday! Ben is more excited for getting time off of school. (Monkey and I are excited to have him home ALL DAY) Family will be here to stay with us for a week, so Monkey and I have been slowly getting decorations up to help bring in some Christmas spirit. I sure did miss my Mom when it came to putting up the lights on the tree. That woman can make everything she does seem so easy! My first few set of lights on the tree looked...how did Ben put it? Ghetto. But no matter how tacky, how ugly the decorations, my lil' Monkey makes me feel like a professional decorator. He "ooooohs" and "ahhhs." It makes all the effort worth it. I sure do love that sweet boy.
P.S. I really wanted to string popcorn for tinsel on our tree. It literally took all day (9AM-5PM) but looks so nice and smells wonderful! However, it never occurred to me that Monkey would want to eat it off the tree! I should have known though, it IS his favorite food.
